At Truckee Skin and Acne Clinic, we are proudly Face Reality Acne Certified and offer the 12-week Acne Bootcamp program which has a clear skin success rate of 90% with consistent homecare usage and regular in-clinic treatments.

During our initial consultation, we will deep dive into all things acne including how acne forms, how to achieve your skin goals pore-clogging ingredients, lifestyle triggers, and more.

During this program, I will design a progressive plan for in-clinic treatments and a homecare routine to help you achieve clear skin. You will also receive ongoing support and additional resources from me to equip you with the tools necessary to reach clarity!

  • Please reach out to me directly via the “contact” page. Please share photos of your skin and what you would like to address. From there, I can help to determine what treatment might be best suited for you!

  • Avoid applying harsh prescribed products such as Vitamin A topicals (i.e. Tretinoin, Retin-A) 2 weeks before your appointment

    Don’t wax the face 7 days before or after your treatment

    If you recently received injectables (i.e Botox, Juvéderm) please contact your injector directly for guidance. However, the general rule of thumb is to wait 2 weeks post injectables to receive facial treatments. Facials can be received at any point prior to injectables

    If you take prescribed medications, please include them in your intake form. Depending on the medication, I will reach out to let you know if we need to wait to perform your treatment

  • Absolutely! All treatments are customizable. I have protocols designed to be safe for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.

  • Please bring photos or physical items of all products that you are currently using. We will take inventory of any products that may be contributing to your acne. This includes all skincare and makeup products.

  • Acne can take up to 90 days to form and clearing can take 3 - 6 months depending on multiple factors including the severity of your acne, commitment to regular treatments and consistent homecare usage. Whether you are addressing lifestyle and diet triggers, pore-clogging ingredients in products such as makeup and laundry detergent, and more. Acne can be complex but that’s why I’m here! I will be available every step of the way to help troubleshoot with you. My best advice is to have faith in the process and trust me as your Acne Expert!
